Faux Finishes

Deborah uses faux finishes to transform ordinary surfaces in your home or commercial space. With techniques that were created long ago during the Classical Period, Medieval Times, and the Renaissance, she can take plain white columns and create the look of marble or plain white wainscoting and create the look of mahogany. An ordinary wall can become “stone” or Venetian Plaster or a more current finish can be created such as linen or denim. Faux finish is also a term used to describe any decorative painting technique applied to walls, so it encompasses finishes as simple as a color wash which adds warmth and depth to a plain wall or finishes as intricate as faux gold leaf or metallic shimmers which are multi layered and amazing!
